Location: I have a workshop near South Petherton, Somerset. The workshop is on a farm quite near the A303, maybe a mile out of South Petherton. I’m not there every day so we need to arrange drop-off and pick-up times. Tues-Thurs is ok most weeks but only by appointment.<\/p>\n

You can courier amps to me to repair\/restore, and arrange to have them picked up, but you will have to make all the arrangements, and the risks have to be all yours in both directions<\/strong>. Generally things are fine but once in a way damage and theft can occur (it’s happened to me once in twenty years, but once is enough). Insurance is prohibitive and would probably exclude “glassware” (ie valves) anyway – so do be informed if you choose this route. Finding a van driver via Shiply or similar might be a better bet, or someone doing the journey in a car, but it’s up to you.<\/p>\n

Please remember – callers must be by appointment only<\/strong>, which is why I don’t put the address on the site.<\/p>\n

I don’t have fixed opening hours, and I don’t work every day. I usually can’t do phone calls – this is high voltage work so I often can’t answer the phone. Most weekdays 10am-4pm are ok for appointments. I also am usually available to be there on Saturday mornings, if you’re tied up at work weekdays – just ask.<\/p>\n
