REGULARLY UPDATED NOTICE 22 April 2013:

Well three weeks of opening has backed me up out of the door, so I have to shut again. Best guess for reopening is mid-May.

I do need to close to new business again from time to time, but if you are an established customer (ie I have worked for you before) you will be able to rely on service from me even during closures - these will apply only to new business.

I know this will seem odd to some, but expansion isn't on my agenda so there's only me, I teach a lot of the time and my time is limited, and there is a lot of demand. This is a wonderful situation to be in at the present time and I am most grateful for the trust and loyalty my customers show. There isn't a better way to manage my workload. I mustn't let things get out of hand again or no-one gets good service.

I do repairs to:
- guitar amplifiers, valve or transistor
- bass amplifiers, ditto
- guitar electronics
- effects
- conversions for harmonica
- valve hi-fi
- valve power amps

I don't do repairs to:
- solid state hifi (no manufacturer support)
- car amps (trying to do the world a favour here)

...and for the time being I am not taking in repairs to solid state power amps or studio gear. I just need to limit the amount of work I take on so that I can offer a reasonably timely service, but please don't ask me to take on solid state hi-fi, solid state power amps or studio gear.
